Paris is one of those destinations I've been wanting to go to for a long time. Perhaps one day... I may try Montreal in the summertime. I don't like the below zero weather, BRRR! I have heard from some Canadian friends that the winter has been rather mild, -10 degrees versus -40 degrees!! LOL, either way definitely not for this warm weather gal! Cheers!!

  I love, love mercury glass! I wish I could find some vintage pieces, but I am happy with my finds thus far, they have that vintage-y, cottage-y feel, don't you think??? It's fun to find old children's books with their sweet images. What do you collect? I call myself the eclectic collector, if it "speaks" to me, it goes home with me!

   I just love finding old buttons, how about you? I decided to play around with the buttons and arrange them around a rusty old pair of folding scissors, I also added a little piece of copper to one end, just playing around with found objects I came upon this morning in one of those old "pine needle" sewing baskets I bought some years ago. What are some finds you've come upon in your cleaning/organizing? I'd love to hear from you as this is my first post; being a newbie I'm  trying to hone the craft of blogging!!
